Phillip Evans (Cardinals)

Hello all,

My name is Phillip Evans and I am excited to cover the team I have grown up cheering on for my entire life. I am an extremely lucky man with an amazing wife and two “evil” pit bulls.

Baseball has been my life for as long back as I can remember. I have enjoyed some amazing experiences around baseball in my short 30 years on this Earth. A couple of notable experiences: catching Carlos Pena’s 3rd HR in the 2009 HR Derby, was at the game when Ken Griffey, Jr. hit his 500th HR (on Fathers Day), attended first game at Busch Stadium III (season tickets that year), attended last game at Busch Stadium II (only because of Pujols’ HR against Lidge in 2005 NLCS), have been to 75% of home playoff games since 2010, and finally attended 2004 NLCS Game 6 Edmonds Walk-Off HR in 12th inning. I still get chills when I see a replay of that thrilling blast!

Now, I spend most of the baseball season analyzing stats to help my fantasy baseball teams. This season I tried something new and teamed up with a couple of guys and we started the Fantasy Front Office (@FanFrontOffice) fantasy baseball podcast. I am just trying to share my passion of baseball with others who appreciate this kind of stuff.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the Cardinals or myself at @thebaseballjedi on Twitter or thebaseballjedi@yahoo.com

I'm just a guy who loves baseball. Married to an awesome wife and have two "evil" pit-bull fur-babies. Born and live in Saint Louis, MO. Cardinals fan since 1987. Fantasy baseball extremist since late 2000's. This year a couple of guys and myself started to co-host a podcast about fantasy baseball. It is Fantasy Front Office and @FanFrontOffice if you are into that kind of thing. Any other questions tweet at me or email to thebaseballjedi@yahoo.com
