Nick Bradford (Tigers)

My name is Nick Bradford and I’ll be providing you with insight into the Detroit Tigers minor league system. I’m 28 years old and am a life long Detroit Tigers fan. My fondest Tigers memories include watching the 2006 playoffs and World Series in a small dorm room with my entire floor and attending Game 4 of the 2012 World Series (the clincher for the Giants).

On the MiLB side, I live within 30 minutes of the Toledo Mudhens (AAA, Detroit). I also live within driving distance of the Lansing Lugnuts (low A, Toronto) and West Michigan Whitecaps (low A, Detroit). I plan to attend games in both Toledo and West Michigan this upcoming season. I’m hoping in 2018 to make my first trips to see the Erie Seawolves (AA, Detroit) and the Lakeland Flying Tigers (high A, Detroit).

In the fantasy realm, I’m a member of two dynasty leagues, one with a 20 MiLB minor system and the other with 50. I’ve been playing fantasy baseball my entire adult life, having been a member in leagues with my current commish for the last 5 years. I am a huge stats junkie and look at every metric I can get my hands on to help gain any edge I can find.

In my personal life, I am a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Masters Degree in Administration. I also hold an undergraduate degree in computer science. I work as a software specialist for a software company providing software for those that serve individuals with developmental disabilities. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2-year-old daughter.
