Hey Nats Nation! My name is Shelly Verougstraete and I am the Nationals writer here at Prospects1500. Even though I am a Red Sox fan, my goal is to keep you up to date with all the happenings down on the Nats farm. I live in central VA and have access to many minor league parks (A to AA)
I decided to cover the Nationals due to my proximity to the big league club and my husband is a huge fan! I’ve been a fantasy league General Manager for about 4 years and year to year leagues for about 6 years. I also have a serious baseball obsession. I’m always reading baseball websites and blogs and listening to baseball podcasts.
